MCTs (Medium Chain Triglycerides) are fats with relatively short chains. As a result, the body deals with MCTs differently from other fats. The MCTs C8 (octanoic acid or caprylic acid) and C10 (decanoic acid or capric acid) are quickly used for energy and are best digested compared to other MCTs, such as C6 or C12. C8 is most rapidly absorbed and used for energy and ketone production.

NoordCode Pure C8 MCT Powder contains only C8 MCTs from sustainably grown coconuts combined with acacia fibres. A portion of 10 grams contains 7 grams of MCTs. MCT powder dissolves well in drinks and is therefore perfect as an addition to cakes or drinks such as smoothies and coffee. In addition, acacia contains prebiotic fibres, which feed the intestinal bacteria.

Too large a portion of MCTs, especially if your body is not used to it, can cause bowel discomfort. MCT Oil Powder is softer for the intestines than normal MCT oil. This makes MCT powder a good starting option. You can also take a larger dose of MCTs with powder than with normal oil before you experience bowel complaints.
